Voting Facts

  • In Washington, a school LEVY measure must be approved by 50 percent of the vote, and a school bond measure must be approved by 60 percent.

  • All voting in Washington is done by mail.

  • Ballots are mailed about three weeks prior to an election day.

  • The upcoming election requires ballots to be returned by February 8, 2022.

Remember to Vote

Tuesday, February 8, 2022 is Election Day. We encourage all registered voters to remember to vote. If you vote by mail, ballots must be postmarked no later than February 8. If you do not vote by mail, you can turn in your ballot on or before February 8th at the ballot drop box outside the Waitsburg City Hall.
