On Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. There will be a College & Career Fair at Waitsburg High School Gymnasium. Students from Waitsburg and the surrounding area will be visiting during the morning and early afternoon. Open to the public from 2:30-4:00 p.m.

Please join us on Monday, April 29th @ 3:30 pm for the battle of the birds on the WHS Baseball field. This will be our WHS Softball Senior Night, as well as a Softball VS Baseball game. There will be a BBQ to follow, meat provided by the coaches. Please bring a side to share. Please come out and support our seniors!

HASA needs volunteers to make this year's Spring Carnival happen! We are looking at the date of the event to be May 3rd from 6-8 pm. We have several needs from running games, handing out prizes, face painting, gathering donations for the silent auction, and running it. There will be a planning meeting for this event on April 10th at 6:30 pm in the Waitsburg Elementary Library. We are looking for new ideas and your input. Spring Break is Monday, April 1st through Friday, April 5th. District offices will be closed during this time. School resumes Monday, April 8th.

Early Release is Friday March 22nd, @ 12:10 PM. Snow Make Up Day is Friday, March 29th. School is in session.

February 5 - 9 is School Counselor Appreciation week. Waitsburg is very fortunate to have Rosy Nechodom as our school counselor. Rosy is a great advocate for all the Waitsburg students. She teaches SEL lessons, coordinates PBIS PRIDE, and is always there for the students of Waitsburg. She also coordinates the 504 program and supervises the Sources of Strength curriculum. Rosy is involved in a plethora of activities in our district, and we are truly lucky she works for Waitsburg. Rosy, we appreciate you!
